Computer System Concept


A group of working units is called a "System" to achieve one or more objectives. Like - Hospital is a system with units, Doctor, Nurse, Medical, Treatment, Operation, Peasant etc. Similarly, Computer also acts as a system with the following parts.


  • Hardware
  • Software
  • User



Hardware
Those parts of the computer that we can see can be called hardware. Like- Keyboard, Mouse, Printer, Scanner, Monitor, C.P.U. etc.

Software
Those parts of the computer that we can not touch can only be seen as software. Such as MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Photoshop, PageMaker etc.



User
The person who runs the computer, operates and receives the result, is called User.
